I have had a lot of subscribers asking for a review of these darts, think its mostly German subscribers. They are a set of darts made by Greek brand Dpuls and endorsed by a popular German Youtuber Marcel Scorpion.

His real name is Marcel Althaus, I think he started as a gaming channel and then expanded with other things. Its a large channel with over 1.6 Million subcribers, you can check it here: Marcel Scorpion

Whats that got to do with darts you may ask? Well he is also mad on darts and started a darts channel too, its one of the biggest darts channels if not the biggest on Youtube now with over 100K subscribers, you can check that out here: Scorpion Darts

He has a very nice technical throw and plays to a very good standard. Along with Martin Schindler they won the Promi Darts WM 2018 final which is a pro-celebrity event. Martin Schindler is one of the players managed by one of the owners of DPuls hence the endorsement of these darts with the Marcel Scorpion name 🙂

Dpuls is owned by 2 Greek brothers Akis Anisis, Nick Anisis and as mentioned above a third guy who is the manager of Martin Schindler, Max Hopp and Christian Bunse, a Greek player called Ioannis Selachoglou.

So with that background info sorted lets talk about the darts 🙂

Its nice to see another brand and the DPuls range is only small but has some nice models, I particularly liked the limited edition Marcel Scorpion darts but could not see them anywhere to buy.

There is other models endorsed by Marcel Scorpion but I think this V2 model is the main one. Its a tapered style dart which is centre weighted so I was not thinking they would suit my front grip. I was pleasantly surprised though!

Not sure why but I suspect its just the way they are balanced but they were flying quite well for me. I would probably still say its a dart thats more for middle and rear grippers but after throwing them I think it could be a nice little all rounder.

The front is made of wide double rings with thin grooves in between the rings and wide square cut grooves in between the sets of rings. If your grip is mainly on two of the rings then its only around medium level but if it falls into one of the wide grooves you get a slight increase in grip.

The middle is a mix of ring and smooth but I would say for most mid grippers you are likely to be be fully on the rings and even if not you will still get some effect from them.

The rear is not so grippy but more a uniform fine ring grip so just depends if you need a lot of grip or not, very comfy to hold on the rear though.

I think the darts flew nicely from centre and rear so may be mid grippers will have the best of the dart but as I say about could work for all types.

The darts are nicely packaged and nicely machined although its not too technical of a design. I did notice that the tungsten has a very nice shiny silvery polish though, reminiscent of a lot of Asian brands and just adds a little more to the overall quality.

First darts from this brand and quite impressed so far, pricewise higher than I would have liked but nothing too drastic.
