Another nice set of Mission darts here, these are the Reiki M1 there is three models in the range and they have a nice deep red electro plating coating.
The M1 is the front weighted style and all models have the same grip design. The grip is made of fine rings and grooves in sets of four with slightly wider grooves inbetween each set. It also has a lateral groove cut through the length of the ring grip.
For me as a front gripper I found these to be very nicely balanced and worked well with the supplied set up of short stems and standard flights.
The grip is only a low medium at best but there is some slight edginess from the lateral cuts, its does release nice and easy though and very pleasant to throw.
I think it should also work well for middle grippers if you like a front weighted taper style as it feels comfy to hold around the middle.
Of course no reason rear grippers should discount it if this is the style you like anyway but I think front and mid get the best from it overall.
Its a good looking dart and once again nicely machined and designed from Mission and not too pricey which is always good to see.
Quality is fine but it was a touch under the stated 23g weight and machining is not too over complicated but nevertheless neatly done.
Overall another winner from Mission Darts 🙂

This review (like all your reviews) are really helpful to me. But, why haven’t you reviewed any Great White or Piranha models? I’ve just recently gotten back to playing darts after taking many years off. I’ve been buying darts like crazy in a search for my perfect dart. However, when I started back I immediately returned to using the darts I’ve always played with – Piranhas and Great Whites. I’ve always used these two and found them to be really good darts, but there are nearly no reviews anywhere that I can see. My question is…why?

Are those the Bottlesen movable point darts? Not so easy to get in the UK and movable point darts are not very popular and also most people think they are too expensive compared to other models you can buy. But I have done reviews on some Bottlesen darts in the past, think it was just a written review though on an old darts forum that is no longer around. I liked them at first but then the moving point got on my nerves, also that was in the days when I was still quite new to darts so I think it was more a novelty to me back then. I still have a few sets though but never tried the Great White I think I have had some Piranhas though, but a lot of the models in that range are very expensive for what is a fairly basic design.
