These are the Target Orb 01 model from the latest Target launch. There is three models in the range and its a good value 80% range that has something to suit all styles. I think the 01 model being a straight barrel ring grip style is likely the one that is going to make the best all rounder.

Although its a straight barrel style it has a nice and interesting variation of ring grip. It has kind of burger bun style sections with thin double ring grips in between each bun. The double thin rings have a nice painted metallic blue on the grooves and the grip is uniform the whole length except of course for the nose and very rear.

I think the grip has an interesting but pleasant feel to it but has a little bite depending on how your flesh interacts with the thin rings sticking up slightly. Overall though its not aggressive and not really slippy so should suit a lot of people especially beginners.

The blue highlights of the rings certainly look nice against the silvery tungsten and although it is slightly chunky feeling its not as thick as it may have been considering its 80% tungsten.

I found the dart nicely balanced overall but that is likely helped for me as a frontie due to the supplied short stems but as usual with straight barrel darts it feels best balanced in centre,

Certainly no reason why it should not work well for all grip styles though, if you already like this style but fancy something a little different then go for it 🙂

At less than £27 its great value and overall really nice quality, I just dropped a point due to one of the darts been a bit out of the weight match.

So I think its a neat range from Target and its nice the same models are also in soft tip too 🙂
