Devon Petersen recently signed with Shot darts and they have brought out three great models for his range.

Here is my review of his premier model The Greatness.

As Shot are well known for making a theme to work with in their ranges the Devon Petersen has a great theme based on his African Warrior moniker and heritage.

The new range all feature the Zulu Iklwa spear grip design, in the Greatness model it is machined into the barrel giving a great look and feel.

The dart is a sleek missile shape with a black titanium coating and gold PCT highlights.

Its a very good looking dart and also quite a unique look too.

I think its probably one to suit mid to rear grippers best due to the shape and balance.

The points are the African Warrior etched points which fit in well with the theme and also look rather good as do the special design flights that complete the whole setup nicely.

Its a decent level of grip through the barrel with the rear shark style grip being the most grippy part.

Not sure its a style that suits me as a front gripper, the darts kind of felt like they were tumbling forward on release but having said that I got some flying well enough 🙂

Its a great looking dart though and one I think will be popular but sadly a little pricey which I think is something we may have to get used to for all premium darts these days.
