Shot quite recently signed Spanish darts player Toni Alcinas aka The Samurai and this is their premium model for his darts. Its a classic flat/squared bull nose straight barrel ring grip in a fairly short length so probably great for front grippers. It has a classic thin ring grip on the front and a more unique mix of rings and inverted shark style grip on the rear but with quite a wide lateral cut through it.
As you can see the grooves are nicely highlighted with the Shot red particle coating which really sets the darts off and gives them a neat and elegant look overall. It also fits in nicely with the Japanese Samurai theme which is echoed on the flights and the neat little Japanese character on the barrel, I have no idea what that says though lol!
I think its a nice level of grip at the front and just ever so slightly grippier on the rear but overall probably high medium.
For me the bull nose is great and I dont mind the slightly chuncky feel as its often what I prefer anyway. But as a front gripper it feels very nicely balanced probably because its not too long at 46mm so feels good but agains should be fine for middle and rear grippers also.
The darts are very neatly machined and come supplied with the rather nice Tao carbon stems which feel and perform well.
Overall then a really nice dart but again a little on the pricey side but I think you will be pleased if they take your fancy.
