A really nice looking set from Mission Darts here, this is the Kronos M2 model with Quad iso grip. There is three models in the range and the M2 at first glance looks like a straight barrel but its thicker at the front than the rear so slightly front weighted.
The rear has the Quad Iso grip which is made up of thin double rings and the four blue titanium coated decagons or ten sided shape. The front is mostly a thin slight grooved double ring grip with lateral grooves cut through which again are highlighted with the blue ti coating.
The front has some grip from the lateral cuts giving a slight edgy feel but the rear section is a little grippier, overall though its medium to high medium level.
For me as a front gripper I liked the balance of the dart and think the supplied shot stem setup works well with these. I don’t see any reason why it wont work well for middle grippers and should be great for rear grippers that like a slight front weighted bias.
Its a whopping 95% tungsten barrel but is very nicely and neatly machined and the way the light glints on the blue decagons is great, its a very good looking dart! 🙂
My only gripe was the points are slippy silver points, that’s easy to fix with a bit of scuffing or even a point change so not really anything major to complain about.
Its obviously a pricey dart but I think its not too outrageous because of how its machined and the tungsten content and I don’t think you will be disappointed with it, even though we all would love darts to be cheaper I think its about right for the current market.
So another very nicely designed set from Mission with just enough different to be good without being over the top 🙂
