As said in that review its another nice range from Mission Darts, with a blocky grip called Quad grip hence the name Quadrant. There is four models in the range and the M3 is a shorter front biased style with a bulbous teardrop style nose to it.
As before the Quad grip feels very sticky due to the many sharp edges but I think once they wear off a little it is likely to move from high level grip to around high medium.
You do need to get used to it at first though as it can take you by surprise but if you have a delicate grip then it wont feel as sticky.
The darts have a fairly long bulbous nose so if like me you grip close to the nose then you will be on a smooth section but I did find it quite comfortable gripping just past it where it starts to curve towards the straighter section.
The barrels have also got a black ti nitride coating in the grooves which just sets off the natural tungsten look of the squares off nicely 🙂
After playing with them for longer from that grip though I was really starting to like them a lot. They are very nicely balanced for a front gripper and once you get comfy with the grip too they fly great.
I think middle grippers should be fine with these too especially if you like a front weighted style.
Not sure about rear grippers though, I think you should only give them a try if you already like a shape like this and know what to expect 🙂
Again as with the other version I reviewed the barrels have a fair amount of machining on but overall it was neatly done and I only knocked a half point off the weight match as it was a little under the 23g stated weight, other than that though all good.
