A review of the final model from the new Shot Kyle Anderson The Original darts range, these are the Battler. Its basically an 80% tungsten version of the O.G. darts but a little different. It continues the Aboriginal theme with the Tracks design but this time using Shots Cinder etching. It also has my favourite flights in the range so far, they are green too which is a bonus lol 🙂
As with the O.G. is a spring onion or tear drop shape and its a shape that you either like or dont like, as I have mentioned before its not a shape I find suits me even though I am a front gripper, I can never feel properly settled with my grip on the bulbous part. This version is a little longer than the O.G. though and I think overall was probably flying better for me. I did have a bit of a dodgy back when I reviewed the O.G. though, so was not standing in quite the same way but still these seem to fly better when trying from middle and rear too.
As said before if you have tried this shape before then you will know if it suits you are not, some front grippers will be fine and I think a lot of middle grippers will find it a comfortable dart to hold and throw. It feels more front heavy when throwing from the rear but probably ok if you like to spread your fingers along the barrel a little.
Once again the darts have the very well done Aboriginal theme and the flights design with this set is great, Shot designers have done a really good job on the graphics again, even the box is my favourite on these too! 🙂
If you fancied a try of the O.G. darts but was not sure because of the price then these are certainly more wallet friendly so you may want to give these a try instead.
