This is the Mission Paradox from the recent new Mission 2021 launch. There is two models in the range one is a shorter torpedo style and the model I am reviewing here which is a long straight barrel with a neat variation on the ring grip design. The darts look great with the contrasting red and black electro plated coating.
The darts have a nice flattish bull nose and a short taper on the very rear but the rest of the barrel is made up of a mix of very fine double rings with lateral cuts and wider concave or scalloped rings that are smooth. Its a great looking grip and interesting feel too, some parts you get a little edgy feeling from the thin rings and also a little bit from where the wider rings raise up, but those sections are also smooth so the grip does not feel sticky and releases easy.
As well as been a long barrel its also quite thin and its certainly not what I would normally feel comfortable with but for me they have been flying great! So another dart thats got me confused lol I thought I knew what I liked but these seem to have thrown a spanner in the works now, oh well 🙂
It should work for front, middle or rear grippers and really just comes down to whether you like long straight barrel darts but it could surprise you like it has for me.
I have played it a little more since expecting them to have been a honeymoon dart syndrome but no, they are still flying well so far.
Its a lot nicer dart in the flesh too than when I first saw images of them and very nicely coated but I am sure there will be a lot that would be very happy to see these in a plain tungsten livery.
Top quality again from Mission and price wise not too bad again so another great model in their range! 🙂
