This is the Harrows Revere from the new Harrows 2021 launch. Its a nice variation on the classic ring grip straight barrel style.
The grip according to the Harrows box is called a Two Step Perennial. Its kind of like a normal double thin ring grip but the grooves in between each set of double rings is fairly deep and curved and made up of a stepped ring grip. I think because of the width of the grooves it feels more grippy than it appear, also if your flesh sits into the grooves you can feel the edges of the stepped rings too. So I think its around high medium grip verging on to been high level.
The barrel kind of looks shorter than it is but I did think it was nice to throw, balance was better than I thought it would be too. I think it should make a very good all rounder though, it flew fairly well for me from the middle and although not so great for me from the rear I can see it been good for rear grippers too.
Some people may think it is more grippy though, I think it depends how your flesh feels the edges of the rings but I am sure that will soften a little with use.
Out of all the darts from the Harrows new range I can see these been a sleeper hit though, it just has that feeling of been a dart that will be popular and the good price level should help with that too.
Nicely made again and as usual good to see a wide range of weights and not too thick this time at 6.8mm, I know some have moaned about the others been thick but this is fine. Almost perfectly weight matched again too.
Well worth trying and probably my second favourite set from the new range 🙂
