These are the new Harrows Avanti from the Harrows 2020 range. Its another great looking dart from Harrows with a unique grip that at first appears to look quite aggressive but is closer to a medium level upon throwing the darts.
The dart has a nice deep black ti coating and has some nice highlighted metallic green coated grooves which is further nicely contrasted with some natural tungsten silvery rings.
Its a kind of gently tapered dart and its a little thicker just past centre then has a subtle taper to the rear. The grip is kind of a mix of rings and grooves with slightly smoothed shark and reverse shark style sections. Just past the centre there is a slightly wider ring which could act as a nice reference point for some mid to rear grippers.
When I came to throw the darts it released nice and easy from the fingers and was a little surprising that it felt less grippy than I was expecting but in a good way. I found it to be very easy and pleasant to throw, balance overall was very nice but did seem to be slightly rearwards so could be a very good one for mid to rear grippers.
After playing with them for longer though its working fine with my front grip, really nice to throw and is quickly becoming a fave dart, I dont think it will take over from my Predators though as I think that works better for me as a front gripper but there is certainly something nice about these.
Quality is first rate again, machining is clean neat and weight match was nearly perfect. Price is not too crazy for such a nice dart like this and it comes with a set of the rather good Super Grip Carbon stems so although we want to always see darts even cheaper I think overall in todays market its very reasonable.

Nicely done on the review as always Darren.
Like mine a lot, run a very close second to my match Infinity barrels.
Release nicely as the grip isn’t excessive.
Thanks Brad! Its a really nice dart I think the balance is just a little past where my front grip is but seems to fly well for me, grip is not as grippy as I thought it was going to be so releases nice and easy but best of all its got green on lol! 🙂
