These are the limited edition set from Target to celebrate Raymond van Barnevelds retirement from competitive darts. They are only in steel tip and only in Barneys weight of 25g. The edition is limited to 2500 sets.

As you can see in the video the darts come in a very nice presentation box with some great extras. There is a neat time line folder from Barneys youth to the present detailing his journey in the world of darts. The neat little touches go throughout the whole package though from the Army (Barney Army) inspired packaging to the little stars denoting his world championship wins and the little embossed trophies of each win and continues with the flights of each win and a nice little dog tag. I would advise to watch the unboxing video mentioned to see every thing in detail.

The barrels themselves are a classic Barney style close to his old Triple B’s with a fine micro grip and a orangey bronze coating. They look very classy indeed but not enough grip for me personally, but I bought them to collect not throw.

Overall this is a really nicely put together package, certainly one of the best player collection sets I have ever had and if your a Barney fan well worth the asking price.

I figure all sets will have been sold by the time this review was published so no doubt they will be appearing on ebay and the likes at much inflated prices.

If you want to buy them to play with though its still a super nice dart which should work well for all styles but like I mentioned not enough grip for some.

Quality is great but then again its a simple design but for me the value is in the whole package and for that its superb! 🙂
