This is another model in the Falcon range of darts thats exclusively sold on Darts Clearance eBay shop. I reviewed the F1 model some time ago which was a great dart and well liked by many so here is the new F2 model.
The darts have a similar very nice orangey bronze coating as the previous F1 and also a unique grip pattern. It looks great overall but is not quite as grippy as it first looks. No idea what you could call this grip style but its a deeply grooved angular shape which kind of looks like a Falcons eye, so may be thats what its meant to be?
The front half of the dart has a tapered nose but then its parallel until it gets near the rear where it then tapers off. The rear has a faceted ring style grip so is a little more grippy than the front.
For me as a front gripper I like the balance and feel of the dart. Also when I did the video it was quite warm and humid but there was no slipping of my grip so may be the deep grooving is having a better effect than I thought it would.
It flew fine from the middle but not as much grip there due to the fairly wide smooth section.
It feels like it could work well for rear grippers though and you have the best of the grip there, so if its your shape then certainly give them a try.
The darts come as barrels only but they also came with 5 sets of the very neat Falcon Darts flights and I paried them up with some medium orange stems which suited the colour scheme I think 🙂
Its very nicely machined though and the coating just adds some class and style to the overall look.
For the price they are very worth a try and I probably like these just a touch more than the F1 version, great darts!
