As mentioned in my first review of the Imagine Darts Kokasen, Imagine darts is a relatively new brand to the market but has been a custom darts maker for some time. They are located in Taipei, Taiwan and were founded in 2018 you can find them on their Facebook link above. The Classic range is going to be Imagine Darts premium high quality range of 95% tungsten darts which will have special pvd coatings or surface polishing or both.
As with the previous Kokasen darts I reviewed they come in a neat cardboard presentation style box with stems and flights.
Its a fairly unusual shaped barrel but I think it has something for all grip styles whether you are front, middle or rear grip.
The front is chunky and a low level grip but has an indented band which has a nice feel and just a fraction of a lip edge to push against.
Around the middle the dart gets very interesting with a tapered ring grip and a single small scallop band.
The rear is also a little unique with a kind of barrel shape and then some thin micro style rings.
So overall a very interesting design but a only a short barrel so could work for people in ways they would not expect with other grip positions than their usual.
For me as a front gripper the balance is great but its just as nicely balanced from the centre too, as its short the rear was ok also.
Grip in the middle is nice and comfortable in the fingers but obviously a lot thinner feeling than the chunky front.
The darts are very neatly machined, possibly some of the cleanest cuts I have seen on a barrel, the coating is also neatly done too.
So great darts and great design but only problem is they are not so cheap or easy to get hold of in UK, shame that but a fantastic dart 🙂
