These are the M1 version and there is also two more version in steel tip and one in soft tip. You can see them all on the Mission darts site, link above.
Its a nice front weighted torpedo style barrel with a rather nice but subtle take on the ring grip on the front half. Its got a kind of curved ring preceded by a thin ring so there is a very subtle bite but overall its around medium to low medium. It could feel more grippy if you have deep finger print ridges though.
The rear half of the dart has a standard thin ring grip and is about the same level of grip as the front but on the rear its thinner as it tapers towards the stem end of the barrel.
As a front gripper the balance if very nice and for me the dart felt effortless to throw and releases very cleanly.
I dont think it was too bad from the middle but I think its probably one for front and rear grippers mostly. Rear grippers only if that is the style of barrel you like of course.
So if you like this style and dont need a lot of grip I think at this price its very nice and great value so well worth a consideration 🙂
Quality is fine, the darts were closely matched but a little under the 23g stated weighted so just knocked a little off the score for that but another good addition to the Mission Darts range.
