These darts are so called because of the inspiration of waves, the wavy style grip hence griptide 🙂 Its a popular seller for Quantum Darts and its not hard to see why. Often the main complaint I hear about darts is people saying they have a smooth part where they hold the dart, well there is full grip all along the barrel on these, so should be good for many grip styles.
As its a straight barrel too it will work well for many also.
The grip is not overly aggressive but has a pleasant amount of traction without been too grippy.
There is effectively three styles of grip, at the very front and rear its a standard style ring grip, in the middle is a thin wide and deep spaced ring grip and either side of that is a kind of wavy beveled ring grip. So plenty for most people I think.
Dimensions are good also, for me at least lol not too long at 48.3mm and not too thick or think at 6.75mm.
I was surprised it flew rather nicely from the rear for me too but I think its one of them darts that just has a bit of everything for most people so should be fine whether you are front, middle or rear gripper.
The barrels are nicely machined and great quality, price is also very reasonable so overall certainly worth a look 🙂
