The tool is well packaged and comes supplied with a very handy storage wallet.  There is a set of instructions but its very easy to operate.  Its supplied with 3 allen keys of various sizes which I show in the video above what each is for.  A nice touch is that it comes with a detachable T bar which helps when turning the bolt for removing the points and then can be easily removed and stored neatly in the supplied wallet.

The tool works great and overall is  very good quality but if you are a complete beginner to changing points its best to take things easy.

The only real bad point with re-pointers of this cage and rail style design is there is no easy or that should be comfortable way to grasp it when removing the points, the t bar is fine and comfy but holding it steady with the opposite hand means grasping it around the square edged chamber, so not that comfortable but easily rectified if you wear a glove 🙂

I guess the main thing with re-pointing tools is how much use you will get from it, they are always handy to have and should last a lifetime but if you dont plan on changing points that often then you may not see the point excuse the intended pun lol!
